Yup, we’re going to brag here a bit! Thank you our super cool couple Mandy and Ryan as well as my trusty sidekick John Chartrand for getting drenched in the rain this past fall here in Chatham.

Usually, when it rains on a wedding day, we can usually find a few minutes of clear skies sometime throughout the day for some photos outside.

Not this day.

After sunset, we went out into an adjacent field and used an umbrella to keep relatively dry while my assistant placed the flash and we did a few test shots. We counted down from 5 and my assistant grabbed the umbrella from them as close to zero as possible.

We were soaked. Even the bride and groom.

But… totally worth it!
