I'm John Lyons, a wedding photographer serving Chatham-Kent for over twenty years. The Chatham Armoury, the Links of Kent, Deer Run Golf Course, the Rustic Ranch. I know these venues well. Not just their layouts, but their light. Where it comes from in the morning, where it goes by late afternoon, and how to build a timeline around the moments it creates.
I give couples space and time. A quiet word, a direction to walk, room to breathe. What unfolds from there is always better than anything I could have directed.

Chatham-Kent is a market I know differently than most photographers who work here. I've been shooting weddings in this region for over twenty years. I live here. I understand how weddings feel in this community, the character of the venues, and the particular quality of light on the open farmland as the afternoon winds down.
I've photographed weddings at the Chatham Armoury, the Links of Kent, Deer Run Golf Course, and the Rustic Ranch in Thamesville, among others across Chatham-Kent. Each venue has its own rhythm. Knowing them well means less time problem-solving on the day and more time capturing what matters.
