Erieau sits at the tip of a narrow peninsula where Rondeau Bay meets Lake Erie. It’s quiet out there. On a summer evening in August, with the sun dropping and the lake going flat and gold, it’s absolutley magical!
What makes Erieau work as a location is the variety of locations in such a relatively small areas. The beach itself, the waterline, the dune grass behind the sand. You can stay in one place and never shoot the same background twice. The light ties it all together.
