First Look at Finao’s iPad Album Cover Designer!

So, we’re pretty excited to be one of the first to test drive a beta version of Finao’s iPad Album Cover Designer! We actually used it at a consultation last night to show off a sweet cover material/cutout combination. These are screen shots of the app in action. Using the iPad app, we are able to select the album format: square, vertical, flip or horizontal…

Then, we select the materials from the Finao swatches…

…select an image from the image gallery (I sync my iPad with Aperture) and we can proof the cover, materials and cutout in minutes…

All of the swatches are preloaded into the app, so you don’t need an internet connection. Changing swatches is super fast and easy – and a great way to get clients excited about the album!

The app will be available soon and we can’t wait!

Sweet Jamaica Wedding Album

At the Wedding Extravaganza in Windsor we were so happy to show off one our favourite wedding albums – Loni and Ross’s Finao album from their super awesome wedding in Negril Jamaica. If you are a photographer and want an easy and effective way to proof your albums check out our friends over at Album Exposure.

We’ve been using Finao albums for a few years now and absolutely LOVE their cover options. And now we are super stoked for their new fine art ink jet books! Here’s a couple of photos of their album on display at the last wedding show. The cover is call “Secret Garden”. Ah, sweetness…
