Jacqui and Jay Are Married…!!!

A few weeks ago Larisa and I shot Jacqui and Jay’s wedding at the Fogolar Furlan Club in Windsor. This was one of the coolest (and most nerve-wracking) weddings of the season. Nerve-wracking?? See, the bride Jacqui is a fellow wedding photographer, and a pretty good one too. And most of her friends are wedding photographers too. So the bar was set pretty high. This is the fifth photographer wedding that we’ve shot, so we’re pretty used to the pressure, but it always seems to add a bit of excitement for us to be able to work for our friends in the business.

Oh, and this was the first wedding that I shot with our new Nikon D700′s – which I LOVE! I still like the Canon 5D for the getting ready and reception images, plus I don’t think I’ll be able to pry the 5D from Larisa’s bag just yet, so I think we’ll be “bi” for a while.

And finally, congratulations to Gloria and Murray from Royal Wedding Gardens – Jacqui and Jay’s wedding was number 4000 for them!
