Last weekend, we kicked off the 2009 wedding season here in Chatham with the very fabulous Jayme and Joel. I have known Jayme for a few years now; she was a bridesmaid at Ashley and Chris’s wedding a couple of years ago. Now the cool thing about this wedding is that is wasn’t even a wedding! See, Jayme and Joel were married a week before in the Dominican Republic at one of my favourite resorts: the Bavaro Princess in Punta Cana, and then came back to Chatham to host a reception for family and friends.
I have to admit, it was very strange shooting a wedding without a ceremony, but it made for a very relaxed day. We started out at the always awesome Retro Suites Hotel in downtown Chatham before heading out to the Conservation area and finally to the Portuguese Club.
