Located in Windsor and Chatham in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, our boutique studio specializes in capturing all of the real moments of your wedding with a fashionable flair! We believe that when you are relaxed and having fun, your images will look the best. That's our job...and we love it!

Now, some of you might be wondering where our website is. Well we've consolidated our original portfolio website and blog into one combo blogsite now. Our blog was getting all the attention anyway, so now when you go to johnlyonsweddings.com or to johnlyonsweddings.com/blog this is where you end up. At least for now...

Lisa and Bob Are Married!

The second last wedding of the year was the super fun wedding of Lisa and Bob. This wedding was a referral from Katie and Jeff’s wedding last spring – so thank you Katie and Jeff! Anyway – yes this was a December wedding – and even though is was super cold – the sum was out and gave us some great light to shoot in, even for just a few minutes at a time. And special props to the bridesmaids for braving the cold in their strapless dresses!

The lights at Dieppe Park was absolutely gorgeous!

Krislyn and Steve Are Married

Right before the holiday we shot our last three weddings of the year starting with this one Krislyn and Steve. Steve is Krista’s brother – your might remember Krista from “Krista and Trevor” only a couple short months before. It was a gorgeous day – especially for December! Immediately after the ceremony in Leamington, we raced downtown to Willestead Manor in Windsor for an hour or so and then back to Ciociaro for the reception. This was definately one of the funnest receptions ever – and boy can Steve sing!!! And specialy thanks to one of my best friends Harold Jankowiac from Modern Photoglyphs for second shooting with me.

Windsor Wedding Show This Weekend…

Hey there everyone, just a quick reminder that we are at the Windsor Wedding Extravaganza wedding show at the Caboto Club, all weekend. Joining me today will be two of my favourite brides: Jennifer and Krista.

Windsor Wedding Extravaganza

Caboto Club in Windsor
Saturday Jan 16, 2010, 10 am – 5 pm and
Sunday Jan 17, 2010, 10 am – 5 pm

We will be booking 2011 dates right at the show. Most prime 2011 dates will be reserved by the end of January, so this is the perfect time to reserve your wedding date. We do have a few (very few) fall 2010 dates available.

And a special thanks to Dhyana at Swanky Affair for helping me design my new booth – it looks awesome! (Don’t mind the photo quality either, I was just using my little Canon point and shoot)
